Southern California October 2021 Real Estate Market Update

It’s November 1st, which means we have last months market report for Southern California from First Team Real Estate. We will go over each Southern California city, but the full reports, which I will link, have each city as well.

And as always, if you have any questions I am always more than happy to help if you would like to send a message or call me. I have been a realtor in Southern California since 2002, with various designations and specialties. Basically, I know my stuff.

So, without further ado, here are the October 2021 Market Reports for each County:

Orange County:

According to the OC Market update for October, median single-family home values have increased 21.8% year over year! If you're waiting to time the market for your next home sale, this is it. Message me if you have any questions about the value of your home.

This October in Orange County there were 2,079 homes for sale, 1,601 sold homes, a median sale price of $114,990, and an average on 21 days on the market.

Riverside County

The median sale price across Riverside County for single-family homes crept up to $555,000 last month and inventory is lagging behind last year's numbers. Southern California's seller's market is still alive and well.

This October in Riverside County there were 5,524 homes for sale, 2,648 sold homes, a median sale price of $555,000, and an average on 26 days on the market.

Los Angeles County:

According to the latest LA Market Report, single-family prices have finally cooled across the county. However, inventory remains limited with homes flying off the market with an average of only 24 days on market.
This October in LA County there were 6,484 homes for sale, 3,476 sold homes, a median sale price of $910,000, and an average on 24 days on the market.

San Bernardino County:

Over the last three months, inventory of single-family homes has actually decreased across San Bernardino County, further driving up median prices to $487,500. This holiday season could be the perfect time to cash in your home equity and purchase a new home if you're ready!

This October in San Bernardino County there were 2,592 homes for sale, 1,723 sold homes, a median sale price of $487,500, and an average on 22 days on the market.

San Diego County:

Inventory of single-family homes across San Diego has decreased almost 30% in just the last 3 months! This ongoing inventory shortage has pushed median prices up to $750,000 which means this holiday season is a great time for homeowners to take advantage of our seller's market. This October in San Diego County there were 2,680 homes for sale, 2,782 sold homes, a median sale price of $750,000, and an average on 26 days on the market.
